BRIDGES TO TRANSFORMATION
Panama is also known as the "Bridge of the World, Heart of the Universe", due to its geographical location that connects the American continent and unites the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. The country is the ideal venue for the TICAL2023 conference, which will bring together ICT directors from across the region to build a common development agenda based on digital.
The theme of the 2023 conference is “Bridges to transformation”, highlighting the role of the National Research and Education Networks (NREN) ) that interconnect the regional digital ecosystem across Latin America and the Caribbean and foster collaboration to advance countries´ digital transformation. Panama inspires us to continue building bridges to innovate and transform our realities, using technology to solve development challenges.
